Utility Bills, Are they delivered

i have been living here since Novmeber but have not yet received any utility bills. will they be delivered to my villa or do I have to collect somewhere. dont want to get cut off.

They are left at your property on the day they read the meter, so you need to check.

Sometimes I find them fluttering around the garden - sometimes pushed under the back door - bit of a treasure hunt really - best to fit one of those letter boxes to your outside wall/gate - then, if you're lucky, they may use it!

Your electric bill is usually left in your meter box.

Your water bill is left anywhere where it can be secured so far better off having a small post box fitted as close to the water meter as possible.

thanks, just looked and found them. Are the bills continous if they are not paid or is the amount quoted for the month only

Failing all of that as long as you have your customers numbers then just go along to Kibtek and your Belediyesi and ask them how much you owe.

Unpaid monthly bills will be added to the next bill so what you see on your bill will need to be paid to bring you up to date but the bill will include a late payment fine.

Message 3, I like your comment * if you're lucky they may use it*, I watched the post man one day, he stopped his motor scooter in the middle of the road outside our house, with his right hand he could put post in our letter box, with his left he could pass it to my neighbour, he gave it to the neighbour, oh well, perhaps one day!!
