Cancelation of the JUKEBOX SHOW

In respect to Mr. Denktas, who 'passed away' on Friday night, all pop music programmes, including the JUKEBOX SHOW on Radio Bayrak, have been cancelled for the next few days.



This weekend's show will be aired next Sunday.

So I heard Pam. I believe it is to be classical music on air. Not being funny, but for some of uus it means that we get an overdose of the music we like, except that, of course, it could well be reptitious and that they will play thee appropriate classical music. No idea what, but I expect it will be in line with what Denktash enjoyed. He was always present at concerts at bellapais, .

It would have been nice if he had been laying in State as did winston Churchill, but I don';t know the procedure here, do you?

Jock - sorry your having problems with recieving the show. You obviously live in an area where the reception is poor. Listening online is the only other way to receive the show. One way of making your online reception sound better is to link it up to a stereo system if you have one. On ocassions I have problems recieving the show on the radio so I link up my computer to my stereo system and get a geat sound. Hope that helps.

cor blimey, wot a bunch! All Pam did was to share some information that might be helpful to fans of Mike! she is such a lovely lady she doesn't deserve nasty comments. You don't have to listen to Mike p- he knows don't cos it is not my kind of music but I think Pam is showing what a big heart she has that she is thinking of others.

Hans - type BRTK in your browser - click on the BRT homepage (2 homepages will show) - click on BAYRAK INTERNATIONAL (which is in the top right hand corner of the homepage).

Each to their own ,as they say.

What a shame RCT put the comment but it was his freedom of speech/choice.

So sad it was put in this link---the radio changes are out of respect for Mr Denktas and not for the individual's personal attack on programmes.Bayrak radio presenters do their best.we don't have to listen.

I enjoy the Sunday programme....it's like Family Favourites was on the BBC years ago.!
