| These petitions we are repeatedly asked to put our name to,to stop some injustice being done. Do they work, does anyone take any notice? |

| I think it works on the drops of water wearing away a stone principle. Just keep up the pressure in any legal and moral way possible. However, one word of warning about petitions - read them carefully and make sure you approve of both ALL the "demands" and ALL the recipients, Sometimes they have a hidden agenda and you may find that in your enthusiasm for the main cause, you have put your name to some addressee or subsidiary demand (which can even be addded after you signed the petitition) that you dont approve of. |
