I will be grateful if anyone can confirm where a small, hand held, tyre pressure gauge can be bought in TRNC. The degrees of variance of readings given on different garage forecourt gauges in Alsancak is astonishing, if not down right dangerous !

Gauge from Mr4tl might well not be any more accurate, suggest if you do get one from there you calibrate it against a better quality one to check the reading.

Thank you all for quick responses. Once I get tyre pressures accurately gauged I can get wheel tracking and balance sorted. Then I have only to convince the Wildebeest (bless her) that the car will handle better and be more comfortable for her if she travels in the boot !

There is a car accesories shop in Girne that sells most things car related - it will probably have both pressure gauges and pumps.

Go down the main shopping street (1st exit from Colony roundabout) and then take the 2nd left towards 1001. There is a left turn opposite 1001 - ignore that and take the next left (one way street). You will see the shop on your left and you can usually park somewhere around there.
