| Does anyone East of Gırne know of any TC Cookery Lessons. I love the food that my TC frıend cooks. Last nıght we had a cheese soup. The other nıght she made a huge bake wıth onıons spınach cheese. Wıth some of the made dough she put some of the fıllıng ın lıke a pasty cooked ıt ın the fryıng pan. Tasted so dıffernt was torn between whıch I lıked best . Even though they have lıttle money they always have a fantastıc spread. I have eaten at restraunts but her food ıs far better. |

| There is a beautiful cookery book that has been put together by the local Turkish ladies in the Akova Womens Association and the recipes are in English and Turkish. I am sure that you will find some recipes in this book that your TC friend makes. It is called Tastes From Cyprus and is a hard back with beautiful illustrations and easy to follow instructions for the recipes. You may be able to get it from the Ozankoy Bookshop or the Bookseller shop near Lemar Karakum. Molehiya is one of my favourites from the book. Happy cooking! |
