thanks for that, Mal. Hope it might encourage people to sign up. In this cold weather it is so muchnicer to sit by a warm fire and put on the computer and catch up with what is going on in the cold outside.

Great idea about the free promotion. And subscribing online works out a lot cheaper over the year than buying the hard copy paper.

Thanks Pippie, a word of common sense. I think it is a good idea (not because I contribute to the paper) but because it is cheaper than going to the shops; no petrol involved; no standing at checkout queues and no going out into the cold. I might even subscribe myself!
