Susief- There is a shop going from the golden lady back towards Girne on the right hand side just after Severners, not sure how much they are, but they do not normally over charge. P

What about Amandas auctions? With the amount of people leaving NC, there are usually some bargains to be had. See http://www.cypyp.com/amandas.htm

good deals are far and few between because on a positive note(yipee)all of the people who are leaving are being replaced with people who can afford to live here. With a bit of luck the crims may not be able live here. Long live inflation.

hi we are coming over in july and we are looking at buying a cheap second hand car rather than rent as we are over for a month and we have bought a property, can any one help us to locate a good second hand car dealer and what do we need to be aware of?

shellc - from what I have read on other threads, I'm not sure there is such a thing as a "cheap second-hand car" or a cheap new one, come to that. Mind you, there are a hell of a lot of people leaving, you might be lucky Hope you find what you're looking for. J

Hi Susie, please let me know where you find the best deal. We are over in March and looking to buy some pastic furniture - sun loungers, table and chairs. Have you tried 1001 near Ercan airport? We saw some very reasonably priced stuff when we were there in November and I think they may have have had loungers.

laptagal The cheapest one so far is 85ytl without the cushion from the shop TheWicks suggested. I also went to one in Girne, next to Pizzarella, and they said 130ytl with cushion. Still looking for the best bargain

Hi - coming over next week and need to buy garden furniture. Does anyone have an update on the best place to buy from? I am not looking for quality, particualrly as we have brought some really nice stuff in UK and will be bringing it with us when we move out (whenever the house market in UK picks up). Thanks
