Please forgive me if this is a repeated subject. Returned home to UK last night from a 3 week holiday. Since the beaches get pretty crowded on a Sunday, decided to try somewhere else. We were recommended to try Silver Rocks in Lapta. Paul and I hadn't been there since it was 'Rita on the Rocks' many years ago. We found it to be a lovely spot. Salt water swimming pool, comfy sun beds and huge umbrellas. They have a very good restaurant there and it's all in a beautiful setting.



The staff cannot do enough for you. Entrance in free, but go early. As a bonus for us, Rita was there and we had a catch-up.



Highly recommended.

Hope you and are Paul are well, it was lovely to see you both and have a few laughs.

I might pop down to Silver rocks and have a look, i used to go there when Rita owned it and thought it wouldnt be as nice now, but will take it from the one who knows and see for myself.

Hi Sheila - lovely to hear from you. Enjoyed the laughs and will definitely have another meet-up in September. I don't think you'll be disappointed in Silver Rocks - if Rita frequents it, that's probably recommendation enough!

I would recommend Silver Rocks and always make a point of taking family and friends there who come over to visit us. Lovely surroundings and the food is very good value for money. You wont be disappointed.

Hi to the Wicks was lovely to see you again after all these years and Smithy (introduce yourself if I am down there). It is a fabulous place to go and the two brothers who own it are so polite and helpful great boys, well men,they were boys when I leased it. I think Sunday tends to get a bit crowded, with those who have to work all week and only have Sunday free. It is great to see a load of customers from 20 years ago - thank you all.

I have to agree we went for lunch after reading jean and pauls thread. It was really nice and the young man who served us couldnt have been more helpful. I loved it xxxxx
