Hippo- are you SURE you're not the reincarnation of Bernard Manning?

Or were you his script writer?

I'm disappointed at your stereotyping of people in Wales. I have many friends in North Wales, and some of them are people!!!

Yeh, but I wore a flat cap, mufflerand hobnail boots, stuck a black pudding in me pocket and told the my name was Hippo.

Actually there were two of them tied together so technically I was attending a Leisure Centre........................................

Well, there does not seem to be one so if any Welsh people are interested in starting one, contact me on suesteel@hotmail.com and we can come up with a plan of action. Remember Wild, Wicked and Definitely Welsh!!!!!!

I believe there is a Welsh Society in Patagonia!!! Personally, we came here to get away from all that.

There is an area of Alsancak/Lapta known as little Patagonia.

Hope this helps.

It would appear that a harmless request/suggestion has amassed a great deal of derision here on the boards and I find that quite sad.

When "Hoppi" ridicules the idea of a "Welsh Society" in TRNC, it must be a blinding good idea. As a EU citizen I apply for associated membership...

CarrierBag,there are so many boring farts on this forum. They will ridicule anything.Look at some of the other forums.Moaning Minnies who do not like this Island.

I gave up trying to find a partner/lover on this forum because of their remarks.

90% are English which came as no surprise to me.

They have no "hiraeth",nor true proud nationality.

Go for it Sue !!!

perhaps you scoffers at us proud Welsh should delve into your history books.

The original Welsh came from England. We were the ones who could run faster, climb mountains, away from our the marauding nations who raped and pillaged the English. Vikings,Romans all at it !!
