Do somebody know if they are still working on this building site in Alsancak. They restarted works in november 2008, road works etc.

Ricky, I to am interested in progress at the Sahara Oases at Alsancak

Last time I was there in October 08 not much was going on but I was advised by the developer that the road works was just starting and the Electrical Mains room. I would love to hear from any one local are there any men working on the site or any news from the forum.

walk past the Sahara Development early this week and yes there has been work going on at the site. The Blocks of apartments on the hillside facing the waterway have windows and water tanks and have had their first coat of paint. When we were walking past there was a meeting of men one who looked in charge was giving instructions to the others. Hope this helps.

No tarmac yet. Just electric and water pipes. Building for electric power transfo was constructed. No tiles in the pool, just put waterproof product on the concrete. Buildings got a first paint film.
