Hi all I'm sure a lot of you lovely people out there have read the book 'Genocide Files' and has probably been discussed in a previous post. If so I apologise sincerely, but for those of you out there who haven't read this book and want to know more about the build up to 1974, go and buy it. It's certainly opened my eyes. It's written by an english journalist who, one would assume, has no axe to grind. It's an unbiased view of the atrocoties that took place for many years before Turkey intervened. For those of you who have read it, your views would be welcome Regards Nigel

Hello Nigel Sorry to contradict but Harry Gibbons was born and reared in Scotland - British by birth, Scottish by the grace of God,but definitely not English. A good read, and should also be read alongside 'the death of friendship' by Matron Aziz

Hi guys i have read the cyprus tapes by david mathews. david worked for bbc and visited the south of cyprus to a warm welcome and was given a storey. The south then changed towards him because he went to the north for there side of the story. a good infromative read. I had only seen a tv programme by the bbc with sir trevor macdonald before a very greek one sided view. i have found some inline books in pdf from here http://www.atcanews. I also have two books i can email on request Cyprus disscord the UN plan and after this is 6.75mb so make sure good broadband speed and The cyprus problem and how it can be solved. 191 kb. i have not read either of these.Lets remember thuogh whislt a struggle is on and i fully support the north there is always another side to a story
