Help please, this new laptop is driving me mad. When on the forum and moving the cursor around the screen the size reduces itself down to a very small font. Can't find out whats doing this but the only way I can resize the screen is to log off and log back on again ? Any Ideas !! I know this is nothing to do with NC but its really annoying me now.

Check that you Ctrl button is not stuck down. As one thing that will change the screen is holding the Ctrl button and using he wheel on the mouse. Doing this allows you to Zoom in and out. Have a look at the btm right of Internet Explorer when this is happening. Does the Zoom change from 100%.

Good call Andy (my first thought) I was also going to suggest, cleaning the inside of the mouse, if it is an optical one, dirt etc. gets stuck in between the sensors and rollers, and can cause erratic mouse actions (however this would fault would happen on all screens not just the BB)

Some laptops have the equivalent of the scroll wheel built into the touch pad. As the laptop is new are you sure yours does not have this built in. What make and model is it?

Turtle I have found several posts when searching Google with complaints about that laptops touchpad. So the only solutions I have are go into the control panel and adjust the settings for it or buy a small USB mouse and see if that improves things.
