Anyone know how much in Euros can you take across border from south to north?

Is this bound by the Green Line law or by the law that applies when you fly from Larnaca to non-EU country?

green line regulations do not apply re funds that can be taken from South to North Cyprus.

Mark in message 5 is correct. However, it is possible to take larger sums but you should declare it to customs before entering North Cyprus, they may want evidence of where the monies have come from which should not be a problem if you are not money laundering. If you don't declare it and you are stopped the customs can confiscate the money so be careful.
