| i was in dublin last year with one of my brother in laws for the weekend ,all i remember was being in a cab and then on the plane home with a very bad head. it,s a lovely place. musin |

| You cant beat a few pints of the proper BLACK GOLD. the stuff they sell here as Guinness is absolute cr..Try it with a drop of cider in it,wonderful head ache material.. |

| Yvonne, I never got back to you on a previous thread, which I cannot remember!!!! Internet has been on and off like a certain young ladies underwear!!!!!!! Never liked Guiness then booked a cheap Ryanair trip to Dublin before we left England for good. Paid homage to the drink at the brewery and I was sold. It is a shame that a saying is correct - the further from Dublin brewery you get the worse is the drink! |

| Hi Cyrpusishome, I'm not a Guinness drinker myself, more of a Heineken gal, it's got to be said. But my dad, who know's his pint, has said the best pint of the black stuff he ever had was out in Inis Oirr in the Aran Islands (Co Galway, West of Ireland) in a little pub called 'Tigh Ned's' (meaning Ned's house/place/bar). So if you're ever out in that neck of the woods, you should try it there! |
