Tile Grouting

Any help gratefully received.



We are coming out to our house in April and the first job on my list is to either clean the grouting in our bathrooms or replace the grout.



I have been down on my hands and knees for hours trying to clean the grouting that the builders have left me, its all dirty and discoloured.



I have tried flash and bleach , cilit bang to no avail.

1/ Do they sell good quality waterproof grout in NC

2/ Do they sell any grout cleaners and sealers ,



I don't really want to carry to much weight out with me, so would be gratefull for any help on this.

go in the diy shop in UK (B&Q or FOCUS) and get a tube or two of grout whitener - only about the size of a large tube of toothpaste. I looked all over for it here with no luck so brought some with me on my last trip - brought my tile grout up like new! Dead easy to apply - comes with its own applicater so you just squeeze it on and leave overnight, then wipe off the surplus - easy peasy!

Oh and it comes in various colours to match your tiles.

The NC builders seem to think that the finish is up to standard, no amount of arguments seem's to move their opinion.

yes i know , but cant believe your having to clean builders mess do you owe them any cash if so hire someone to do it and deduct from what you owe good luck//

I have an unopened bottle of Tile Grout Cleaner which I brought over from the UK but have never used. Don't know if it is still ok to use but you can have it if you want.
