may your days be merry and bright

and may all your christmases be white

people have said that i am tone deaf , but i think i sang that song pretty well !!! dont you ????????

My favourite Christmas songs are Wizzard " I wish it could be Christmas every day" and and Slades "So here it is, Merry Christmas, Everybody's having Fun.........." as soon as they starts it makes me feel good!

Favourite carol is Silent night.

I'm spending Christmas in North Cyprus, fly tomorrow so I'll use this post Simbas to wish you, Paul, Erkan, and everybody a happy, safe time for Christmas, kurban bayram and the year to come, and if we can help someone worse off than ourselves then lets, Christmas can be a tough time for a lot of people.

But on a happy note,

Keep safe and speak to you all in the new year.

(We'll be Another couple of weeks nearer the new season, Paul!)

James.

Hi james hope you and your family have a fab time celebrating christmas in nc , as i'm sure you will . spare us a thought occasionally , as the weather takes a dive and everything gets a bit too much , as we attack the gin bottle to get us through the day { hark do i hear a violin playing ? or is it the angels singing } or it could be whistling from my hearing aid { only joking i dont use one !! } have a safe journey

kind regards pat

hi gang

or some of other posters might call us dark angels!!! lol

paul did max bygrave sing mostly cover songs and was quite bad at it lol

mate i think thats why you was called the max bygraves of jokes lol

dont worry ive been called far worse names (i know what you mean about your lip can you imagine what mine are doing) lol

james i hope you have a safe flight and you have a lovely x-mas and new year with whoever you spend it with family or freinds and lets hope the new year brings a new hope to north cyprus and fingers crossed we are still here (banned) when you get back lol

pat x factor monore is that why you started this thread cos you attacked the gin bottle, i know what you mean im hitting the jack d as i type lol

how can you say that on a average most 38 year olds dont use hearing aids

anyway back to the thread my favourite modern christmas tune has to be the snowman song from one hit wonder alec jones from wales

dont know if you guys have seen it but i provided a link to the iron brun christmas advert featuring the song very very funny!!!!! to me anyway some people might disagree!!!! LOL

No problem mate,

Staying with family this time, We are building a place but slowly, brother has had a place for about 4 years now and parents retired out there this summer. Flying from Heathrow to Ercan. Not sure what we paid, think it was about £270 ish per adult. I don't arrange things I just pay and turn up with my passport, hopefully on the right day!

James B your a bit young to think of wizard and slade songs as being the best! Just shows you the old ones are the best ones. Happy Xmas everyone and all the best for the new year.
