All of UK covered in snow......knew it was coming but still the country has come to a halt....schools closed, no-one can get to work, blah, blah, etc.....What's the weather like in NC?

Just heard on the local news three quarters of all flights in & out of Stansted cancelled, that's if you can get there as there has been 3 accidents on the M11 & the Stansted Express is not running. It is still snowing in East Anglia with more expected. It's not like it was not expected!

Both runways at Heathrow are closed, just been on GMTV and it says that there are flight delays through Stanstead...thats at the mo! Parts of the M25 are closed, mainly around Essex and heathrow, and Surrey. And Quite right there is NO snow in Somerset My Dad is playing Golf as we speak!

I have just checked with Pegasus handling agent at Stansted the Pegasus flight inbound is on time make sure you are at the airport with excess time in hand as "it is heaving with people whose flights are cancelled or delayed".



Do make sufficent/excess allowance for travelling to airports as your travel insurance will not cover you if you do not.



Peter will keep an eye on the boards and might be able to advise on KTHY & Turkish too.

We are in Kent and we made a snowman this morning! 8 inches of snow in the front garden and still snowing! No work for my daughter today as all of the trains to London and buses cancelled!
