Merry Christmas to all.

I have just come back online after spending 3 days internetlessness!

Ate too much, drank almost too much, will have a mega phone bill after phoning my husband in Nigeria, (as I could not access Skype) he went back there on the 23rd.

So it was mother, myself and the cat on Christams day.

I hope everyone had a good time and Santa bought you what you wished for.

Nice to be back after Xmas.

A gang of us started with Champagne at a friend's house and then onto a restaurant - good company - lousy food. We all staggered out of restaurant and went for a two mile walk along our canal (in high heels)!!! Onwards to our favourite wine bar and finally home to Irish Coffee's - bad headache!!

I am so looking forward to 2008 and spending next Xmas in NC!!!!!

Regards

What I was going on to say before I pressed the wrong bloody button AGAIN, some people never lean by their mistakes.

Had a good Christmas 3 daughters 7 grandchildren 3 husbands my wife myself and an ex brother inlaw, absolute bedlam, lovely, mind you it took all boxing day morning to clear up.

Hi

Just 6 of us this year - our family plus my parents - quite tame Christmas Day - played Wii - drank too much, ate too much, Boxing Day the same with hubby's family and yesterday Pantomime which was Ok but not as good as previous years - kids enjoyed it. Definitely had too much booze last night! "Resolve" came out of the cupboard this morning plus any other hangover cures I could find! I'm sure New Year will be just as fun - am keeping off the booze until then (yeh yeh I hear you say!!!! )

Happy New Year everyone!

Hello all,

been offline for a week, so just getting round to reading some of these posts.

We all spent the day skiing in France. Had a great time, then had someone else cook Xmas dinner.

Can't think of a better way to spent xmas, with family and friends.

Will try Xmas in TRNC when the Villa is ready.

We had a wonderful Christmas here in TRNC. We spent the morning in our lovely recently-bought new home opening presents and drinking bucks fizz and then we spent the day with 4 very good friends in the village (Catalkoy). A beautiful traditional Christmas lunch was prepared for us and we had enough lovely warmth and sunshine to have pre-lunch drinks and snacks in the garden by the pool. Just gorgeous. After lunch we did our Secret Santa and played a few games. Spent the evening at home watching Christmassy films and eating chocolates! A perfect Christmas day.

Happy new year everybody x
