Hi Soothsayer , forgive me , but i don't think there is anything wrong with the topics as such , it's just what happens to them when a handful of people respond in the usual confrontational and verbally aggressive way of late . Debate is healthy and is encouraged , until it becomes tainted by personal attacks and aggression . a bit like yours in msg 4 actually . It really is'nt necessary

Oh dear AJ. Who lost what? If I dont want to arguee or discuss a Thread then I just dont do it. If I am agressive, so just ignore me, dont answer me? For an argumentation - agressive or not - you always need at least 2! So closing a Thread is in my opineon wrong, unless you have heavy personal insults, swearing, TRNC insults etc. This was not so.

Why close a Thread for the Reason: Thread was serving no purpose. There are so many Threads "serving no purpose" I dont take this too serious but if you were also not taking this too serious then you would not just close threads without having any valid argumentation for closing it - Rather than personal other points of view??

So why dont write: Thread is closed due to possible unpolitness or rude comments. It seems like moderators close Threads due to their personal opineon, and this Thread is somehow a proof for this. Close the "Atheist" Thread and Open a "Hey, god existed" Thread! Sorry AJ, but this is what you d

Yes, I know that they have discovered this book a week ago in Famagusta on the Terminal as they tried to sell it but police was informed and the book which is originated from Anatolia in Turkey, but I still wonder:

Which purpose is this Thread serving? Anyhow. I still know that there is no god. Even this wonderfull book could not convinience me. Maybe there was a boy living in the past called Jesus, who knows? I guess there is a quite high percentage that someone called his son Jesus in the Past 2100 years....
