I started a thread earlier today, yes, agreed it was just a bit of sillyness, but inoffensive & harmless. It has mysteriously dissapeared - not closed - just vanished. I wouldn't mind but there are far sillier threads on here which have been allowed to continue. Oh well, in future I'd better stick to safe things like The Weather, price of fish, location of brothels and other harmless subjects eh?

NN just scrolling down 100 posts, 21 of them have nothing to do with Northern Cyprus. They range from Northerners, southerners to Gollywogs. The good old days, whether dogs have memories to Barack Obama being blessed - what have any of these subjects got to do with the TRNC???

Only kicking myself now that I didn't follow the thread all day to see what the offending post was ha ha (me being a nosey parker!)

Off now to try get warm - fingers too cold to type anymore!

I have to say though that if every post was just about the trnc then most people wouldn't post on here (I think). Theres only so much you can say about the trnc and most topics like, deeds, PTP, passports, electric, power cuts, where to eat, where to buy, etc etc etc.. have already been covered. Granted that occasionally they come up now and again whenever a new member presents himself, but it's not very often.

Izzet & AJ explained well sort of - I'm still a bit puzzled but apparently some evil beings were taking over the thread (maybe aliens?) so Izzet closed it down/deleted it he said it was because he thought it was silly so well if Izzet thought it was silly then it must have been as these Forum Admin people sure know their stuff!

I started this thread as I was puzzled as to why a previous one was deleted - I have since had an explanation of sorts from both Izzet & AJ as to why that was.

We all then went on to have quiet an entertaining little session until we get to Msgs 17, 22 & 24 from Cabbie who seems to have an axe to grind - dunno why he picked my thread but there ya go - too many threads get highjacked by people with 'hidden agendas' of their own.

Oh and Macha, sounds like a bit of sour grapes - weren't you invited to be a moderater? I guess not!
