Sad day for all M.U. fans... 51 years today since the disaster that took away half of the team in Munich .. That was the time M.U. was probably the most loved team ..

I was at work when I heard the news on the radio & not ashamed to say I cried ..

Couldn't do that at Old Trafford a couple of seasons ago, when West Ham should have gone down... But that is also history..

Jan 25th 1958, BlacKburn were due to play Everton in the 4th round of the FA Cup, the match was cancelled due to a heavy snowfall .. All the boys league football was cancelled .. We contacted the local paper to see which was the nearest match that was definitely on .. Man. U. v Ipswich .. Off we went ..

Great game, United won 2.0 both goals scored by a certain Bobby Charlton,

not a first team regular .. Lucky to see the most complete footballer, well would have been .. Duncan Edwards .. RIP
