Are there any members that have experience of setting up a TRNC company recently and can advise how best to proceed.

Also any recomendations of advocates that specialise in company law and formations.

waz - it's a nightmare !



An accountant quoted me just under £5,000 to set up a limited company, sort out the work permit for me and to get it up an running.



There needs to be at least two directors, both of whom must pay the tax/nat insurance contributions (based on at least the minimum wage) even if they are not earning any money from the business.



Then there is the accountant's monthly fee to adminster the tax/nat insurance contributions.



Also found out, if you have a shop premises, the council charge £800 per year for permission to have a sign.



No wonder there are so many Brits working illegally.

hi gary hows nick all that is true also the money you have to lodge in the bank not sure how much that was and the money you lodge for tax uo front. its a minefield. good luck
