hi steve how are you. there are lots of them here just go down the harbour and watch the waiters chatting them up. i could tell you a few stories. It would seem that rurkey is the worse place for this behaviour, one hotel had to employ all female staff because of the reputation it ha gained. There are plently lovely ladies here but it would seem a shortage of eligble men hence they go for turkish delight. You have no need to worry anyway . take care xxxx

Sorry everyone, I have to object here, many times I have had to come over to N.C on my own. Not always wanting to eat the Hotel food,or be cooped up in my room, I have ventured out. Granted I stick to places I have previously been to with other people, so the staff know me.

Only once have I had a problem and this was with an English man, fortunately the staff intervened, not only that but The Resteraunt in question paid for my Taxi and with a female escort.

We are not all Shirley Valentines, some of us have partners who have to work, and sometimes things crop up with the builders/Solicitors/Estate Agents.

Generally I get talking to other couples who invite me to sit with them, a good way of making friends.

Hi steveie thank you for those kind words. You have to keep a sense of humour here. Without a bit of fun in our lives we would all become too old and staid. I could write a book with some of the things I have seen here re this situation. Great film though did you enjoy it.Stilll havent managed to get the book which you so kindly reccommended but wont give up the search. take care and have a great weekend. I hoping to watch some of the rugby before work. xxx

Its like a lot of older films,no swearing,no wall to wall bonking ... just waves crashing on the shore.... maybe I'm getting too old .... still there's always Mike's telephone directory to fall back on.... enjoy the rugby,Steve x
