Be good to hear from anyone from Brum or the Midlands. You know the place where they say" Er our kid where's yo going". The place famous for its sauce-its beers-its motorbikes-its cars-its rifles and of course "The Carrott". Art

Sorry to say not born in Brum but brought up in Sheldon and married a Brummie and our two daughters were lucky enough to be born in the best city in the world. I am a Bluenose not a Villain but can't always be perfect. Worked for eight years at Longbridge when Red Robbo was in charge. Shame about the demise of Ansells, HP Sauce, BSA & Austin Cars but still there is always Cadbury's Chocolate. Have you heard of the new Chinese near Stourbridge called Yom In Lie.

Hi Rigsby, Can you remember the the old coke and coal yard in Saltley. It was not far from the Rock pub. Arthur Scargill held a big demo there during the miners strike. Talking about pubs and clubs-what was your favourite watering hole in Brum. and how about the groups....ELO/The Move. Did anyone drink in the following-The Mackadown; The Glebe:Coach and Horses.Bradford Arms. The Blakesley.Pelham Arms. The Rock? The Heathway. Lilli....had some great times in all the clubs you mentioned-fancy a brummie evening at your resturant? I
