Does anyone know how to easily clean Marble floors? Every week we mop the floors with warm water and then buff them with a dry mop. This process still leaves smears and the floors look awful. Wife is thinking about paying someone to clean them! Help-please!! Art .

You really need one of those rotating Buffers but I spent several weeks in the North and the South trying to find one. If you or anyone comes across one let me know. Otherwise its elbow greece I am afraid Art. You can buy lots of products that will clean and seal but without the machine its hard work. W epaid some one to clean and it looks great for a while but you cant keep doing that can you. Sorry not much help but I sympathise with you

For glass and marble, mix a litle viniga in your worm water, wash and dry in usual way, you will see the sparkle.

Art, I have to say we had the same problem when we came in the summer. I never thought the floors would like clean or smear free looking like there was a layer of dust over it. Some months on they are looking good. I use a dry vileda over it first then mop with water. I find really that the more you walk over the floor the better they become. Dont know why and if this is any help to you? Have you been in the property long?
