Messsage 11

Agree with andysue just a small town in Blackburn. Listened to radio Lancashire on saturday all the dingles were kicking off because the board is not spending any money. Yet 6,000 watched them beat West Brom and average home gate of 10,000 no fans no money and hot off the press Owen Coyle going to portsmouth with Joe Jordan...........

Id be a football manager must be easier than working for a living! Scenario get a football managers job today ! Your contract states you have a secure job for at least three years. Then Guess what six months later you get sacked , and live happy everafter.

its all vicious circle , the new football prem deal is a massive increase on the last yet we are in a world echonomic slow down, where will most of the money end up ? players and managers arse pockets. some deserve to be millionairs ( the great man sir alex) yet the micks at the end of M62 want to double the fat spanish waitors salery and extend his contract! yet talk sport repoted the other morning that" we have never had so many texts and calls about sacking a manager as we have about the fat spanish waitor"

they cant loose can they?

A question for the Clarets, why would your manager leave a premiership club to manage one on the fringes of relegation???? Is it lack of finance/ ambition.................

Our manager at Blackpool is getting a job as a stripper after he took off his clothes and threw them on the pitch after getting sent off at the Ipswich game..............

its not fergie who wants the sack.its the players .if there was anything about them they should donate there wages to charity.a lot of the utd players underplayed and are vastly overpaid.

you can expect in differant games from kids but wes brown and gary neville,i think fergie should start building the team again . i still think we are good enough, which i think this season is a poor prem.i think he should have a clear out starting with some of the older players.utd need a midfield general and a striker.i think utd would still win the prem with just these two players. there,s only arsenal building for the future, that team at wastelands also building for the future patrick viera, they are trying to buy a trophy, utd have bought big but have always mixed it with youth.i think its a good job arsole winjer has got no money to spend otherwise in my opinion arsenal would walk away with the title.

Hello Clayton,

do you not think Fergie has made some bad selection decisions in some big games over the last couple of seasons, in particular the semi final of the FA Cup versus Everton and also the Champions League Final. He should have gone with full experience against the Leeds on Sat but tried a mix and match combination against a team all United fans detest because they cannot let "Munich" go!! Fergie does need to bring a couple of "leaders" into the team to enable them to profit in the premiership race.

i can understand where your coming from, the problem we have got is we just look at the one game.you are right about leeds with the munich thing but fergie cant think that way.i think he plans games ahead.saying that i would rather lose to leeds then that massive club from wastelands.in fact i would rather lose the prem then lose to the massive.sad git arnt i.

It could be the kick up the arse that United needed.I remember not so long ago a game at Roots Hall when Freddie Eastwood scored a screamer for Southend to knock United out of the league cup.Burton albion and Exeter also came close to knocking the champions out of the cup.Hey shit happens,Leeds where the best team on the day and good luck to them at Spurs,

Grey.

I was trying to draw a comparison between what happened to Mark hughes and fergie, even Fergie was annoyed that they could treat someone in that manner when the club was ok.Fergies temper tantrums are well documented at Old Trafford, ask David Beckham he was in the firing line on more than one occasion. I see "The Doc" aka clarets is awfully quiet since Coyle has left to go to Bolton....

message 43,

Money!!! Burnley are a small club in terms of the premiership they have no ambition and coyle has taken them as far as he can as no more investment for players was likely.

Coachie,

Is it not obvious when burnley do well the Clarets is on here banging on about his team, yet at present when its embarrassing to be a burnley fan in that your best manager for years walks away to a club that's fighting relegation he is nowhere to be seen ................

I was listening to radio lancashire last night all the Dingles were slagging owen coyle calling him judas and hoping bolton get relegated SAD very SAD just proves how fickle football fans are.
