Does anyone have an acoustic guitar in there shed or garage that is no longer wanted as I am looking to buy, and learn how to play one.

Hi Guys

I picked up a 'Di Giorgio' Brazilian acouistic guitar at Amandas Auction a couple of months ago. It was minus one string and I got it for 25 stg.

I turns out to be a 'Senorita No 16' classic guiter made in 1972 and valued at 400 dollars. There are bargains to be had out there. Keep hunting!!!

I would be pleased to hold a class for people who want to learn guitar and have some spare to practise on ! my studio is nearly ready and would be pleased to help you decide wether it is for you or not as buying a proper instrument can be expensive and pointless if you dont like it . please email me if you're interested in starting a regular class

I've got one, I started learning it years ago but gave up when I got frustrated at not being able to play properly! Would be interested in lessons though but not sure if I have the natural ability!!

I have seen a music shop in Lefkosa on the right hand side of the main road after you pass the main hospital. It is called 'Major' or something similar and I originally thought they only did keyboards but I saw guitars, cellos and a drum kit.

Am interested in starting a ' Sing around ' for those who play an instrument or are learning.

This would be for all types of music and instruments along the lines of a folk club but for those who like to sing,recite potery etc and just to join in.

The idea would be to get together one night a week somewhere central where we can learn from each other and with out ' karako '.just those of any ability to enjoy ourselves and perhaps learn to play better and get to know people with the same interests.
