Anyone know what's going on with the Turkcell network today?

My phone is saying select network and some family and friends having problems also.

Anyone else having network probs today??

3G in Esentepe is a bit ropey at the mo and texts I've sent to the Uk haven't been received although I've been charged for them.

I have just been to top up my 3G internet as it is a month since I installed it, but when the man in computer shop tried to top it up there was a problem, he said I didnt have enough credit or sms's I know I was given 50 free when I started and I have only sent 1 text local since I have had 3G (1 month) so he had to transfer 30 credits from my turkcell mobile phone in order to install my 70lira top up with 3g. I find this very strange, is this just another way of Turkcell getting more money from us, he gave me a leaflet with instructions but all in Turkish, any input would be appreciated

The best thing you can do is call the Turkcell helpline on 444 0533. They are very helpful and will explain what has gone wrong. Sure it's the guy in shop thats got it wrong.
