Our first night in our home in the trnc. Went out for a meal with friends. Got home late, sat on the terrace looking at the mountains and the stars in the sky and thinking "what a great life this is"

mmmmmmmmmmm please feel free to tell me to "mind my own" but I've always been nosey Please may I ask where Iceman's brother's restaurant is and also, where you spent your romantic weekend in Lapta?

I've had two curries recently at the Courtyard - delicious. I hadn't been for a while and had forgotten how good they are.

My best night out was in Kyrenia last year in April. Met my friend for drinks in The Colony, and then decided to go to Rock's Casino, just to watch the action.

And with €50 in my pocket, decided to give the Roulette table a try.

Walked out an hour later with $800!!! And was whisked around the corned in a lovely Merc to the Colony! Felt like Lady Muck!! It was fun!

Before we had made the decision to move here permanently we decided to sell our house, pack in our jobs and come for 3 months. We thought it would take ages to sell the house but it sold within a day so we then had a mad rush to pack everything into storage before flying out. We even got locked in the storage place at 11.30pm but luckily enough the nice security man who came to our rescue was a TC! Anyway, it was the most stressful time imaginable. We arrived in NC at the beginning of September 2006 and that first night there was a hot breeze and we sat on deckchairs by the pool looking up at the stars drinking a bottle of wine. It was heaven.

2 years ago,had to come over to my house, hadn't been able to get here for months, and no neighbours,so knew water/electricity would be turned off,so booked in Sempati. Each day, sorted out my bills, and cleaned up the house.By Thursday all was well.Had a barbie, bottle of wine.MMM what a wonderful place, and I love my house.I'll stay here tonight.Ran my jacussi bath, upstairs with a brandy, dry and fresh picked lemon slice.

Lying back in my Radox filled bath,oh this is fantastic.

Then electricity went off,had just forgotten how unreliable Kibtek were!!!

No light, pitch dark,no torch or candle handy.Just a naked ,wet Michael slipping around the bedroom looking for a torch.Still love it here, and I make sure, candles and light are in every room

One of my best nights in the TRNC was at Denihzans Restaurant. There was a TC wedding party going on and although we only went in for a drink we were invited to join the party, we had good food, copious amounts of drink, very good company, live TC music and I got to dance with the bride.

AJ- We were in Denizhans one night & got involved in a circumcision party, it was a bizarre experience. Perhaps not our best night out but memorable all the same.

In the Ambiance restaurant with the sea lapping up against the veranda with a large group of friends with the adults at one table and the kids at another. The service, food and atmosphere were excellent but what made it evener better it was the first night of our holiday
