Thanks for the kind words irisar.

Tickets will be available soon for this special event at cost of 27GBP per person.

(this show has been charged at 59GBP pp in the uk)

We are currently doing all we can to reduce the cost of tickets, so watch this space.

As i'm sure you can appreciate, the costs involved in staging this one night production are staggering.

This truly promises to be an amazing event, not just in terms of the show itself, but will also assist in firmly placing the TRNC on the international entertainment map.

So come on everybody, show your support for this and similar events, as this is the only way to ensure future events of this caliber will be arranged in the TRNC.

Please feel free to call if you would like further information.

Is this actually the original cast from the west end show? If it is then this is a brilliant opportunity to see it.Not enough good entertainment in TRNC, looks like someone is trying hard to keep everyone happy. The cost and the work involved must be collossal. 27GBP for a one off like this seems a very reasonable price.

Dear Sunrise

This is indeed the original cast from the WEST END show(24 members in total including the vegas showgirls and the big band!).

Don Hunt is the director, who as you may know has been BRUCE FORSYTHE's muscial director for nearly 30 years and was also SAMMY DAVIS's muscial director many years ago.

As you state, the cost and work involved in arranging this show is collossal, and as such we feel the cost is very fair.

We are very lucky indeed that the show has agreed to perform in the TRNC....hopefully ticket sales will confirm that this type of entertainment is desperately needed, both to entertain the Cypriot and Expat locals and to help give a much needed boost to the TRNC tourist economy.

Pipie

The Girne ampitheatre for the purpose of this show, seats approx 1800 people.

There is ample car parking in the main Girne car park which is 2 min walk away and there is also free parking for a large number of cars at the ampitheatre itself.

The venue is indeed suitable for the disabled, if we are informed in advance we will ensure a suitable area is reserved for this purpose.

Please call if you require further information.

Rest assured jacktheladett, the show will go ahead as planned!!

The GIRNE AMPITHEATRE is on the sea front, to the left of the castle, directly behind GIRNE hospital.

Please take the time and drive down and have a look at the venue, it really is stunning... a perfect setting for this show....very similar to the venues FRANK SINATRA used for many of his shows.

Woodspeckie...cushions will be provided on the night....all 1800 of them!

Thank you very much pipie.

The interest we have received so far, just from cyprus44, confirms your thoughts....this will be a big attraction and just the kind of entertainment the TRNC needs.

The full details will be in the press in the next couple of weeks.

Hopefully the general response will mirror the support received from this forum.

If this event is a success, it will open the flood gates for this type of entertainment on a regular basis.

has this event been cancelled ? I had emailed and called and i know the person dealing with the tickets had to go back to UK for a while. I was told that i would be contacted on their return so that we could purchase tickets. I haven't heard anything more. Does anyone know if it is still going ahead and if so where can we buy the tickets ? thanks
