I have no problem at all with it.



The main problem is that I have received more than 30 requests for help. While I enjoy helping people (when I can) and can perhaps set up two or three people with work I do not operate an employment agency. However, I may consider opening one at this rate (on a volunteer basis).



I let Izzet (who runs this forum) know of the situation and suggested that a Help Wanted/ Jobs Wanted page be added to the website. He may be able to do so at some point in the future (I'm not sure how long -- didn't ask). From the response that I have received, it appears to be a badly needed service. I am lucky to have retired at such an early age because of good fortune. Yet, I know what it is like to seek employment in a country without any knowledge of the local language and with few (if any) local friends (and of course no family connections). For those who need to support a family this can be a very difficult period.



For all of you who have sent me letters without resumes, please send me resumes as well. An e-mail letter is not good enough to cut it. Also, some people wrote that they were looking for a job without listing any direction of their employment search goals and list of skills. These are basic things any employer would need. So those of you who send me requests, please make sure the requests are complete.



I can promise to try -- can't promise results.
