For those esp gardeners in UK.Temp is 15% at 9.00pm,sky full of stars and satellites.Today first tete a tete daffodil in flower, loads more to come.Loads more hyacinths in flower beautiful evening perfume, with the spring flowering

jasmine.10 little flowers and everywhere has the smell. It's mmmmm

Irises now flowering, and to the veg plot, flowers on the strawberries, yum me!and overhanging my garden, most fragrant almond blossom.

In the veg plot lettuces, rocket ready to pick, peapods getting full, broad beans in flower.

I just love being in such a climate!!!

Mike

Have you got any tomatoes on the go? I have two plants (cherry) that were planted courtesy of some overflying birds. Have fruit on one plant and the second is still in flower.

Mike, if you don't mind me asking did you buy the bulbs here, as I was only saying the other day I miss seeing a vase of daffodils when you walk into a house, they cost next to nothing in the UK but they look beautiful, funny the things you miss here, but have never seen them on sale here

Sheila I'll try find you some daffi bulbs & bring em back with me if I can - dunno if they're still available though as they sell them in the autumn usually.

Jo I naughtily smuggled a big bunch of my bananas back to the UK in Feb - they have since turned from green to yellow and I have really enjoyed them - Has helped to make my forced 'exile' more bearable eating bananas from my Cyprus garden!

Smithy,

I got some of my bulbs from the florist just up from the Pia Bella - worth remembering for next year!

Krin52 Many thanks, I have asked at several garden centres but with no luck, never thought of looking in florist shops for the bulbs.

Thanks again for the info

Plenty of daffs, in pots ready for the garden after you have enjoyed them in the house, for sale along the roadside between Guzelyert and Yesilyert, even the multi-headed very fragrant narcissi.
