| 1.8 gr. leg of lamb 2 garlic cloves 8 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp rosemary 900 gr. potatoes (roasting size) 6-8 sage leaves 150 ml. port salt pepper 1 onion pierce the lamb's skin to create small pockets,insert the rosemary and some garlic in each pocket.place the lamb in a roasting tin on pour half of the olive oil. in a preheated oven roast for 15 minutes at 220 -240 mark 7. lower the temp.to 180 mark 4. remove the lamb from the oven and season to taste with salt & pepper.turn the lamb over and place it back in the oven for 40 minutes in a second roasting tin spread out the cleaned and chopped potatoes pour the remaining olive oil over then toss to coat sprinkle the remaining rosemary and the sage place the potatoes in the oven for about 40 minutes. remove the lamb from the oven turn it and pour the port over. return the lamb in the oven and roast for another 15 minutes. transfer the lamb to a carving board and cover with foil place the tin over a high heat and bring the juice |

| to the boil continue to boil until thickened. strain in a warm sauce boat. carve the lamb and serve with the roast potatoes and sauce. |

| it is maddy and denizkisi its lovely I enjoy that one when i can get it.He is posting under seperate threads as suggested so you dont have to trawl down all the time.
