depending on the price of your house but your builder pays the same as you or should also 75% off at the moment dose sound a lot your house must have been valued about £300,000

Hi stevie-d,

Not sure about "so I can head them of at the pass"

But a "Glasgow Kiss" will do the job

Good luck,

steve,

i'm sure you can check with the property tax office to see what is payable. they work it out! sounds far to much to me.

Builder pays 6.25% taxes & you pay 5% + 3%, the 75% discount is only on the 3%. When we bought our house, the kojan taxes were on the price it cost to build, then they changed it to what you paid for the house. They have now changed it AGAIN to what the house is valued at.

Hope this helps.

i thought it was on the contract price.

after all the way the market is, if you purchased at say 100k two years ago.

the property may only be worth 80k now.

why would they change it, so that they would recive less not more?
