We was wondering when our Kocan might be due?

My PTP was confirmed on 24th December 2008 and I received an e-mail from my Advocate yesterday confirming the amount I need to pay to facilitate transfer of the deeds. Once I transfer the money to her account then she will do the necessary for me in Cyprus. Bought the house in May 2006 so all in all it seems to have been a pretty swift and I have to admit painless process for me.

Our land report has been completed and I know the military have also visited our plot, how long does it take for the military to write up their report and get it back to the PTP office?

Kocan and PTP have no correlation.

We have had our PTP for 2 years but kocan may be sometime.

It is down to builder and authorities getting their act together.

If your land's current Kocan is for one plot now occupied by multiple houses you must wait for parcelisation to take place. We have had PTP for over a year now and no sign of a Kocan yet.

RTgirl-you were very lucky!

It is all very well knowing how it works but it is the builder / developer that does it cos they have the plans.

So if you want it done quickly then there would be no problem - if you hand over the required bribe.
