| Another Missing Turkish Cypriot Laid to Rest
LEFKOSA, TRNC - Huseyin Mehmet Buba, whose remains were found in a well in Cyprus island, was laid to rest with full military honors in Lefkosa on Wednesday.
Mr. Buba was kidnapped and killed by Greek Cypriots as he was going from the village of Dali to Lefkosa on December 26, 1963.
His remains were found in a well in Strovolos in the Greek Cypriot side during exhumations carried out by the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus experts.
He was identified as a result of DNA test on his remains.
The Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus was formed to find remains of people who went missing during the inter-communal clashes on the island.

I only wish people stopped using reburial of exhumed remains of missing persons for propaganda reasons. |

There has been more GC remains identified and returned to their families from the exhumation work Committee on Missing Persons is doing..
Have you heard any military reburials of the missing GC remains? |
