Anybody out there got any hot info on the forthcoming election, who's expected to come out on top? are we expecting any dramatic changes? What do the locals want to see? Or are we expecting the same old crap we've had for the last 3 years, with the TRNC digging its self deeper in the mire.

Unless Rasit Pertev of the People's Party gets MP's in, there is no hope for the TRNC. The UBP are the favourites, but they were the ones repsonsible for allowing Gary Robb his kimlick card and were party to all the other problems in the property sector before the current government. Unfortunately they ar emore concerned with lining their pockets than doing anything constructive and productive for the TRNC as a whole. Short sighted.

hi dixie

i have been talking with tc friends about this.

they all moan , want change, but won't vote for an outsider!

even if they thing the outsider would be a better candidate, they will stay with what they know.

i am still trying to find out the number of voters to compair the mainland turkish and tc voters to see who is rearly in control here?

does anyone have those figures??
