Easyjet will start to fly to Laranaca in April. I think the European Union is giving money to airlines. Its some form of financial package similar to one to given to Malta.

Ryanair should fly direct into Ercan, then we would have a good story to report

A guy was sitting in the bar in departures at a busy airport.

A beautiful woman walked in and sat down at the table next to him.

He decided, because she was in uniform, she was probably an off-duty

flight attendant, so he decided to have a go at picking her up by

identifying the airline she flew for, thereby impressing her greatly.

He leaned across to her and quoted the Delta Airlines motto 'We love to

fly and it shows'.

The woman looked at him blankly.

He sat back to reconsider, then he leaned forward again and delivered

the Air France motto 'Winning the hearts of the world'.

Again she just stared at him with a slightly puzzled look on her face.

Undeterred, he tried again, this time quoting the Malaysian Airlines

motto 'Going beyond expectations'.

The woman looked at him sternly and said 'What the f ** k do you want?'

'Ah!' he says, sitting back with a smile on his face. 'Ryanair'.

Mike.

Would you trust your life to an Irish man you had never met before.

So why let him fly you and 300 others at 20,000 feet !

The one and only time I flew with them, you needed to take your own cushions as the seats came from local buses bright blue & yellow plastic. And didn't recline

Ryanair are in talks with the Gree Cypriot government. Their tickets are dirt cheap.

Have flown with Ryanair several times with no problem - you get what you pay for and nothing more. There is no need for reclining seats on a short-haul flight so they are not fitted - saves weight and thus fuel (plus stops the muppet in front flinging it back in your face as soon as the wheels leave the ground!)

My only concern with them (and EZ) is when something goes wrong and a flight is cancelled as you are then very much on your own.

Cheers,

Ralph

Have flown many times with Ryanair purely because they often are the only airline flying closest to where I want to be. Never had a problem, although you only get what you pay for. Not sure I would want to fly 4+ hours with them though to Cyprus. Easyjet marginally better and I would say Pegasus is on a par with Easyjet. Sandie

I flew with easyJet to Tenrife a couple of weeks ago and thought there seats were excellent.I am quite a large person and found the seats had more legroom and were more comfortable to the likes of Thomson ,Thomas Cook etc. there were in flight movies and a cabin service offering snacks, tea coffee. On time as well.Do not know what Ryanair offer but they have just announced they are closing there check-in desks to save them money...
