We have been discussing resteraunts however can someone tell me where the best places to get a simple Late/cappachino (if thats how you spell it). My wife cant survive without a daily visit to get a fix of her favourite tipple (other than Gin that is)



We have failed miserably to find decent ones and tripping to the south to get a starbucks is the only alternative and is not acceptable well not to me at least. East of Kirenia preferably or even in town.

there is a Gloria Jeans coffee , shop in lefkosa that is almost the same as Starbucks.

East of Girne Alsancak



Coming from golden lady statue pass Atakara supermarket, just on left is a row of shops. Drop In cafe on end of row. Had a frothy coffee there yesterday, was yummy 2.5 tl

Full English breakfast 10 tl

Sausage and egg roll 5tl

Much more and a very friendly patron.

Coffee World in High St, Girne - Top coffee and cheese cake to die for.



Mugs - back of Lemar in Girne - Top coffee, run by the nicest people you could ever wish to meet, cafe frappe (or cold coffee as Mrs M call's it) to die for, plus sensational home made cakes (carrot cake especially) and cookies...

we have yet to try the breakfast, but will go back in. the patron was eating is lunch when we arrived as the cafe was empty, my other half asked what it was and in two shakes he had gone behind the counter and came back with a sample of what he was having, which was Liver sliced very thin with onion and small pockets of pitta bread. Can't see this happening in Uk. Have to say it was very tasty, we ordered a sausage and egg roll. which as I said was 5tl and also very good, so I do hope business picks up for him as the weather gets better.

Best coffee I have tasted in TRNC are from Mugz on the Bellapais road and Manipeni on the new harbour road, Girne.

Patio restaurant next to Rocks hotel. We use the Lavazza brand for our espressos on a Rancilio epoca machine. Cappucino's 4TL and go lovely with our own made Tiramisu!

There are many good coffee places here but for me the best is M&S homeworld in the South...so creamy and very indulgent...
