Nice one Cooper.

Does anyone know if in the TRNC 112 and other services have ever used the ICE name on peoples mobiles as a way to get contact with relatives and next of kin.

Hi Sids...

When we first visited we joined the British Residence Association, they meet every Saturday morning at the "shack" ... it is situated at the back of the Post Office in Girne. Back then I think it was £10 per annum membership and they offer certain discounts etc for membership.

More importantly they register members with a local dentist in Girne and if I remember correctly with an English speaking Doctor.

Might be worth checking out their website, or better still calling in on any Saturday morning and getting more precise details from them directly?

Hope this helps

Regards Joseph

why not do a first aid course, then in an emergency at least you would know what to do.

sorry i don't know of any, i did mine as part of a sports training course, but maybe someone else does?
