| For me this is 2 issues.
First is the National Anthem for the UK which is God Save the Queen.
Second each of the subserveant nations in the UK has its anthem at sporting events etc.
For point two, why should England play under the God Save etc there should be a seperate anthem relevant to England.
Whatever, the thing is out dated and dreary. At sporting events it needs something to stir the heart. You watch the Scots at Murrayfield and Welsh at National Stadium and the roof lifts off.
So for me and both fronts, change it. |
