i have been hearing the property prices have been falling in the south (in some areas)

for some time since last year.

i think lots of people purchased there with a view for buy to let, and the market fell in that area.

hence leaving lots of people looking to sell.



now time for those rich russians to move in for some bargins!

the shrewd investor starts looking seriously when others are losing their shirts



as described in a leading article in today's telegraph online

the entire eurozone is heading for trouble

with a spectacular drop in output, talk of slahing interest rates

banks refusing to lend to viable businesses

and the head of the ecb hinting at the spectre of monetary reflation



of course russia generally, with it's hitherto, but now suspended

energy exports-based expansion,

will be just as hard hit as anyone over the next few years

but their burgeoning middle class increasingly rate high-value north cyprus

as a safer hedge, and maybe buy a nice holiday home on scrubland
