I have a motorised system installed 1.2m dish and get almost everything from euorope and the UK (not bbc or ITV) from a company called satcardsharing.com £140 for the year log on and see what you get more than anyone can offer in Cyprus and a fraction of the cost. The Italian, French, German, Turkish (Digiturk), Albanian, Greek version of Sky in HD as well too many more to list. All have english language and more channels than you could want. I have it hooked up to a Dreambox 800hd and its out of this world. Just waiting for the DM8000HD.

Dear Ataturk

re msg 7

"I..get almost everything from euorope and the UK (not bbc or ITV)"

"almost everything" .. ??!!

1) BBC/ ITV / C4 / Five, etc are the progs the ex pats WANT..

2/ a 1.2m dish is as much use as a chocolate teapot for UK / IRL TV content - far too small// the 4.2m gives you LOADS of Free channels and you don't need to subscribe. the channels are FREE - unscrambled.

Card sharing is illegal and WELL dodgy.. the guy sharing out the legit card, taking punters money, lives from day to day praying that the pay TV "cops" aren't going to "do something" to end their business model .."money for nothing"..

These Dodgy operators have had it so good, that the pay tv "cops" have HAD to develop a block to illegal card sharing or "close down"..

..and where will they be when the channels disappear?

re msg 11, Dee,

Thank you for making it clearer !

Freview channels are the BBCs / ItVs / C4 / Five 's / Sky 3 / SKY News (and their siblings BBC3, CBBC, ITV2+1 ITV4+1, etc) of this world

One would need to PAY to get SKY's subscription stuff

Ataturk,

this looks like a good service to me. So what if its illegal. What is legal in TRNC ;-) Exactly which sky channels can you pick up on your 1.2m dish? Curious because I'm thinking of getting a dish and haven't decided on a size yet. Dunno now whether to get 2 sky HD boxes and a 1.8m (or bigger) dish or 2 of the dreamboxes and a a 1.8m dish (or bigger).

Thanks

ataturk, card sharing is a very delicate yolk, it works using cCamd I really wouldn't advise anyone to do this unless you want to become a real sat enthusiast as when it goes wrong its time consuming to fix especially the c line, normally its a paid server which as this is well illegal they often take your money and run after a month or so but motorised is good with a flashed box or cam
