Do you flash your lights to on coming traffic, after you have been through a police check to warn other drivers.. would like to know if it's illeagal to do so..seems to me quite a lot do..have to own up that i am a flasher.. happy ash wednesday..

Kevin I used to worry when people flashed me when they were driving towards me and wondered if I had a door open or a light not working, but now I know what they were trying to tell me, I always flash other drivers (no not that sort of flashing) to warn them of Police speed checks

Are you aiding and abetting the speeding law breakers, by warning them.........YES i think you are.

Speed kills, we have far to many people killed here in cyprus by thoughtless speeding drivers.

Its normally the innocents who are the victims. Let them get a few fines, just maybe when the pocket has been hit enough times the brain will engage.

SPEEDING KILLS. Who knows it could be you or someone close who is the next victim................

Flashing is dangerous jock and could get you arrested !!!!!!!

After inspecting many badly damades cars in the U.K. in connection with my job whereby people had lost their life , speed definetly kills.

You are driving round in 1 ton plus of steel that crumples and crushes you.

There is no such thing as an accident, they are "Incident"

when you flash your lights at drivers it usually makes them slow down automatically. If you see someone speeding flash them, they will think there are police nearby and slow down.

Ask a road safety expert and they will tell you speed kills. Ask a policeman if fixed speed cameras that are brightly coloured and highly visible will make people slow down. When he agrees - ask him why they aren't then.

They don't care about making us slow down - they want our money.

Same here in TRNC - keep flashing.
