Pretty cold and grey here today so to brighten my day I was thinking what I could do with a pension of £650.000 per year, £12450 per week, what would you do with a pension like that ?

Lucky you!!! Our son has been 3 times - first time gap year after university. He's worked his way around on each trip and would emigrate tomorrow if he had enough points. He's off again in October.

I would love to visit Australia but just couldn't cope with the flight...shame, wish I'd gone years ago, I have an uncle there and probably would have stayed.

Dee - our "plan" is to make a stopover for a couple of days going and a couple of days coming back, in different locations. I couldn't cope with a non-stop type of flight either!

I went to Australia twenty years ago, stopped off at Hawaii on the way out and Singapore on the way back, fabulous experience and lots of shopping

Hattikins - been to Singapore - great place, especially for shopping! Always fancied Hawaii - that seems like a great stop-over. Will definitely bear these in mind - give me something to look forward to!
