After lengthy discussions with guests and Management, Club Simena have decided to introduce an indoor smoking area.

Hope to see the old customers back especially at the forthcoming events on Saturday nights

Cooper,

Yep, exactly.

I can't stand it.

When more places in TRNC become smoke free, I will frequent them.

The weather is good enough for smokers to go outside, if they can do it here in the UK, then they can do it there.

Smithy,

I'm in the UK at the moment, but I'll be there in 3 weeks.

All I'm saying, is smokers are dealing with the weather that the UK brings and still continue to smoke outside. 2 weeks ago we had days/weeks of snow and they all managed.

I'm not saying you can't have a quite place to have a smoke, but as a non smoker, I too would like to go into an establishment and be able to stay inside without having to breath in smoke. So until that time happens, I will choose one of the growing number of establishments that are non-smoking, alternatively, I will by choice stay outside...

Hope it stops raining soon..... or do I? You probably need it actually.... thinking about it.

Most places in the UK provide outdoor sheltered areas, they are not geared up for that here yet. The torential rain and thunderstorms have not let up for the last month so its the least that can be done. A few more weeks and hopefully the rain will be gone.

Sarah,

Hope it does stop (within the next 3 weeks), but purely from the point of my holiday. Will be in Lapta for a couple of weeks..

Oh dear! The anti-smoking revolution hasn`t yet taken off in Lapta so it looks like Mc is going to be spending a lot of time outside. Bring warm clothing mate, you`re going to need it.

Or....Hit the markets and get some cheap local booze for home consumption.

The anti-smoking brigade has killed many businesses in the UK, they are selfish and arrogant..there are many places they can go where there are non smokers but no, why should we the smokers suffer because of them..live and let live.

No one mentions the awful fumes from the traffic and factories in the air, surely that's as bad, if not worse than tobacco smoke. I wonder how many

non smokers drive those big 4x4's around, then have the cheek to moan about smokers.

Not so bad in Cyprus though.
