having spent two years and a vast amount of money on builders electric we are finally connected to domestic electricity.

this event which to us seemed impossible was achieved by a company named

oxford property care and maintenance and took less than two months.

the director of this company is alex aksu he is english and turkish speaking and due to him four villas occupied on our five villa site are now individually connected by

kib tek.

for anyones interest alex aksu phone no-05428844411

email address alex@oxfordcyprus.com

I took this from another thread.

I think all the apartments at Patara already have meters so it should just be a case of going to Kib-tec with your paperwork and a bundle of cash (about 900TL these days unless you can get a TC to sponsor you) to transfer it to your name then they will come and fit your fuse and voila you should have electricity.

When you go into the Kib-tec office you need to get a ticket for the counter on the left. The numbers usually begin with 8. Most of the guys there speak pretty good English.

Hi again Carol, I've just realised that not all the apartments have meters but there shouldn't be an issue with you getting one. If in doubt, you could try popping into Ozyalcin's office in Kyrenia and asking them for advice.

I have just heard after a year of waiting Kibtek has been to our complex and installed the transformer and one apartment has got their meter up and and working so things might be looking up for us a last.
