Hi Gang



Is anyone going out to NC in the near future because I have book for Edith at Sweetwaterbay. Their office is at Besparmaklar Cad. No 3 Catalkoy, Tel: 0090 533 841 4380. This is is on the way east out of Girne, on the left hand side, in a little parade of shops - you can't miss it as the company has a big blue sign outside their office saying Sweetwater Bay Properties Ltd.



If anyone would be kind enough to take this out for me, I can send it to your home address in the UK.

We are hoping to go out next month - can anyone please recommend flights and car hire - we have been to NC once before last July but flew into the South and everything was laid on for us by Savills - this time we wish to fly into the North and make our own way.

Jackie since you live in Essex, Pegasus have a route from London Stansted to Istanbul Sabia-Gokcen with a good connection to Ercan from the same airport and very little wait time.



Prices can be as low as £65 one way if you book the two individual connecting flights well in advance. If you book it as one flight it is about £100 each way.

You can also fly with CTA from Stansted to Ercan - http://www.kthy.net

Also if time not a problem you can get the X30 bus from Southend to Stansted, so no parking costs. ( If you're old like me you go for free !!! - bus pass )

I usually rent from Bird or http://www.greenrentacar.com. Both good value. You can "negotiate" for long stays.

How does the Pegasus "two individual flights" work ? Normally you sit on plane for stop over at Istanbul. Do you get off ? Or are the flights seperated by a few hours ?

Yes, from what I could see you book both independantly.

You change planes, arriving at either 1830 or 2030 and then catch the 2130.

May or may not be worth the hassle - haven't tried it myself.
