Advise needed and questions answered please i have 3 G internet with problems and having spoken to turkcell on numerous occasions every time i get a different answer, can anybody enlighten me as to why after purchasing and paying cash for 1 year internet with turkcell do i have to keep paying more money out when internet goes down. They now say im on 2 G and use SMS which i have never used and that my internet comes from turkey and that is why i have to keep paying extra money. Has anyone had similar experiences.

Have you altered you're settings in any way? There is an option to change to 2G so that may be the reason. My friend has had similar trouble, when she went to buy another 70ytl monthly card, they took 30 credits off her mobile as well. I have not had any trouble with it. Got new card & carried on without a break. I did overuse my free texts one month as i was texting someone in England & this uses up 3 texts each time. I was 2 units over (which therefore stops the internet) but I just texted 2 units to my 3g account & I was back up & running again for the rest of the month. If you go into Lemar, the young guy there is very good, speaks good english & may be able to explain what is going on.

Hope this helps.

Don't be put off stellasstar1! I use both Telsim and Turkcell 3G and am very happy with them.

I'm sorry that I can't help you with your particular problem ladyjessic. I know several users of Turkcell 3G and none of them have experienced the problems you have described. Have you visited their office in Girne? I've always found them very helpful.
