We live in a world that is image obsessed.

Should people be content with themselves and not be so hung up on their looks? Is appearance not as important as character?

Would you undertake surgery to make yourself look better?

people sometimes need a confidence boost, I think plastic surgery is a good thing , why not if it helps you feel better about yourself and more confident. I know a very good surgeon here.

Simbas, As your husband is a plastic surgeon, could you get him to cut up The Lady Wyns credit card?

I dare say he could Wyn , but that would only give him the idea of cutting mine up . He thinks i'm trying to singlyhandedly refloat the British economy anyway . But one must do what one must do for one's Country . I know the Lady Wyn would agree wholeheartedly

we came to the conclusion last night went we were having a laught that.

you know you were born uggly when your parents put you in a balaclava not a bonnet, as a baby.

i personnally know someone who had a face lift a couple of years ago, looks like it needs doing again now.

i think people should make the most of what they have, not try to change it.

I too would also agree with cosmetic surgury, people sometime just need a boost, people have it for all differnet reason, to make them feel better, to better themselves and even to help with a problem that they might have had for a long time.

I personally dont think i would have my face done but you should never say never, but i am currently trying to find a good breast surgen that has a very good after service either here or in England (if anyone can recommend ).

People can say they dont see why people have it done but it is to do with the person themselves and theissues they have within and without.

Obviously if a person is depressed about the way they look I think cosmetic surgery could help them get over the depression.

Perhaps Simbas when you come over, your husband could spend an extra weeking fitting us all in for a re-fit. I'm all for it.

Vicky looks gorgeous. I've never met you (yet), and you sound a gorgeous person.

I've thought about posting my picture, but I might leave it until I have decided whether to blow half my pension on a 'Full Clooney'!! (apparently I'm too old for the 'Full Brad Pitt').

What do you think girls?

Should I go for it?

I'm all for it why not its should be done if you want it, come one Simbas let your hubby know and we will have the boobs done, personally not a bigger set but an uplift would be nice, if it boost your confidence and makes you feel better and you could afford it why not. I know of a Surgeon here that was recommended to me, so will be going round with the hat very soon.

Stay as you are ROB. You don't need to impress anyone - just wait until the girls see you. They'll be pulling their hair out.

I'd definitely go for it! The only thing that bothers me is that when they start, they won't know where to stop - spoilt for choice with my boat race!!

I'd start with my eyes - I'm convinced if I got rid of the bags (more like suitcases) round them, I'd look 20 years younger! - Some hope.

A woman named Shirley had a heart attack and was taken to a London hospital. While on the operating table, she had a near-death experience. She saw God and asked, "Is this it?"

God said, "No, you have another 30 to 40 years to live."

Upon her recovery, she decided to stay in the hospital and have collagen shots, cheek implants, a face lift, liposuction and breast augmentation. She even had someone dye her hair. She figured since she had another 30 to 40 years, she might as well make the most of it.

She walked out of the hospital lobby after the last operation and was killed by an ambulance speeding up to the hospital. She arrived in front of God and said, "I thought you said I had another 30 to 40 years?"

God replied, "Shirley! I'm sorry but I didn't recognize you!"
